Description

This evening class will introduce you to some of the processes of throwing ceramics on a potters wheel. Participants will be guided through a variety of ceramic techniques, from preparing the raw clay through to finished glazed pieces.

You will be guided to produce your own individual design ideas using experimental methods guided by demonstrations.

Teaching & Assessment

The portfolio of work accumulated during the short course can be presented for assessment providing 10 HE credits.

Entry requirements & applying

This course is subject to minimum participants and payments will be returned in full if the course does not recruit the minimum cohort.

6pm-8:15pm once a week for 8 weeks from the Regent Street Campus, starting on either of the following dates:

PLEASE NOTE : FOR THE MONDAY 7TH APRIL START DATE: There will be no class on Monday 21st April, Monday 5th May or Monday 26th May.  The replacement classes will be instead be delivered consecutively on Monday 2nd June, Tuesday 3rd June and Wednesday 4th June.
