This option is for the replacement of an original certificate awarded by Glyndŵr University/Wrexham University where the original certificate that was received has been lost or stolen.

• A charge of £50 will be applied for duplicate certificates.
• The duplicate certificate will be annotated as the second issue of the certificate, and it will be marked with the word “duplicate”.
• Duplicate certificates will display the recipient’s name as recorded by the University at the time the award was conferred.
• As the original certificate has been lost or stolen, you will be required to sign a declaration confirming that if the original reappears, it will be returned to the University immediately.

When ordering your replacement certificate, it will be posted out to you by standard second-class untracked mail. However, you may purchase enhanced postage options to allow you to track your certificate. Below are the various postage options available (please note that delivery times are not guaranteed):

• Standard – despatched via standard Royal Mail Second Class post to any worldwide address (this is not a trackable postage option)
• Royal Mail Special Delivery (tracked next working day) – for addresses within the UK only. You will be provided with a tracking number to track your package with this method of postage.
• DHL Europe Tracked Mail (2-3 days) – for addresses outside of the UK and within Europe only.  You will be provided with a tracking number to track your package with this method of postage.
• DHL International Tracked Mail (3-5 days) – for international addresses outside of the UK and Europe only. You will be provided with a tracking number to track your package with this method of postage.
• Collection – collect in person from the University Reception at its Plas Coch Campus in Wrexham once produced (Photographic id is required when collecting).
